Getting Paid

How are Payments Made?
Payments are made within five business days of your items being received via Check.

How Often Do We Get Paid?
As often as you send books! We issue payment within five days of receiving your item via Check! If your library has specific needs for accounting reasons on how you need to be paid please contact us!

Is there a minimum payout required?
No, but we do have a minimum order size of $5.00.

Shipping Books

 How do we ship the books?
Shipping Books is always free to Sell Back Your Book. We currently offer two shipping options, USPS Media Mail and Fedex RMA. After you complete an order you will be able to retrieve a shipping label in your account.

Is Shipping always Free?
Of course! We strive to make selling your discards as cost effective as possible, thus we cover the shipping!

What kind of box should we use?
We would prefer you ship your books in a reused box! You should normally be able to ship your books to us in the same boxes the publisher ships books to you! Not only is this cost effective, it helps with our underlying mission of reuse.

Types of Books

What Types of Books do you buy?
At Sell Back Your Book we pride ourselves on being able to buy a wide variety of books.

Generally you we pay the most for

• Recent Non-Fiction
• Textbooks
• Recent Fiction

What types of Books do you NOT buy?
We buy a little bit of everything but generally we are not to crazy about:

• Mass Market Paperbacks (romance novels)
• Old Fiction (Stephen King, Danielle Steel, Dean Koontz etc...)
• Readers Digest
• Magazines and Periodicals
• Encyclopedia Sets

We do some times buy the above items but you would have to go through alot of them before you found one we had an offer on so its usually best to avoid checking these books.

 

Condition

What Condition books do you accept?
Books should be in Good to Very good condition and be free of

• Spine Damage
• Water Damage
• Heavy Wear

Hardcover books must have a dust jacket if it was published with one.

Do you buy withdrawn library books?
Of course! We can not imagine a successful library buyback without accepting them.
